Participating in the National Bed Federation’s “Pledge for Our Planet”
Many of our Bedding businesses – like L&P Springs United Kingdom, Kayfoam, and Kaymed – are proud participants in the National Bed Federation’s (NBF) “Pledge for Our Planet.”
This initiative brings bedding manufacturers and suppliers together to take meaningful action on climate change and environmental challenges.
Through the Pledge, we reaffirm our commitment to becoming more sustainable businesses by reducing our products’ environmental impacts, minimizing waste, and lowering our contribution to climate change.
Aligning with the Pledge, we will meet all core requirements within two years of signing up and aim to achieve all advanced requirements within five years. Beyond that, we aim to reach the progressive targets for carbon reduction and continue improving our practices.
Sponsoring the Guaranteed Irish Forest
Kaymed is a proud founding sponsor of the Guaranteed Irish Forest – a project designed to restore Ireland’s native woodlands and strengthen biodiversity. This effort supports the regrowth of native forests and contributes to carbon sequestration, highlighting our broader commitment to environmental stewardship.
The Guaranteed Irish Forest is an initiative in partnership with The Nature Trust – a not-for-profit organization with a mission to plant open-access woodlands and restore Ireland’s natural habitats. The Nature Trust will nurture the forest, ensuring its growth into a thriving woodland.
